What is Kids Hack Day?

Kids Hack Day is a series of global and free-of-charge tech events for kids and families run by a network of chapter organizers in different cities around the world. We at Hello World are responsible for running the Stockholm Chapter.

When we talk about hacking we are referring to the creative process of taking something that is, making it do something it was not originally intended to do and then sharing it with the world. Below is a video from the last event that happened 18th of November 2022.

This time around you will find us at Epicenter, in the center of Stockholm.

Epicenter Stockholm is a digital innovation house, with the mission to help the Swedish entrepreneurial ecosystem accelerate internationally while building its roots deep in the local market.

Tickets: Pre-registered drop-in 10.00-12.30 and 13.30-16.00

Ages: 6+

Facilitators: 1 facilitator per 5-10 / kids.

    Terms and Conditions

    1. Since this is a free event for the community, each participant must sign up themselves through their parents. 
    2. One registration is equal to one participant
    3. Participants are subject to final verification and confirmation

    FAQ's

    1. Is there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Yes, all parents need to bring their ID. Parents participating during the event is voluntary, unless your kid is below the age of 10, then you have to stay.
    2. What is Kids Hack Day? Kids Hack Day is a global series of free creative tech events for kids. For more info please visit http://www.KidsHackDay.com
    3. Can I sign up for my friend? No, each participant must sign up themselves through their parent.
    4. Do I need to bring anything or pay anything to attend? No, you don't need to bring anything.
    5. I have registered but can no longer attend. Can I cancel? Yes. Please do so via your account in our event website and mark your attendance as not attending. Or you can email us directly.
